Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand visits, traffic sources, pages viewed, newsletter sign-ups and clicks to Steam or game downloads. Google processes device and browser information and cookie identifiers to produce reports. We do not send newsletter email addresses, names, passwords or payment information to Google Analytics. Our page-view implementation removes URL queries and fragments. We read only explicitly tagged campaign source, medium and campaign names to attribute visits. We do not enable Google advertising signals or personalised advertising in this integration.
Analytics loads automatically when you visit the website. Analytics cookies may persist for up to six months. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Marketing measurement
Meta Pixel loads automatically and measures page views and campaign conversions. A successful newsletter sign-up may send Meta a hashed email address for matching; a hash remains personal information. This is separate from Google Analytics.
Hosting and newsletter subscriptions
Cloudflare hosts the site and processes technical request information needed for delivery, security and service operation. Hosting may also produce operational performance measurements. Newsletter subscriptions are handled by MailerLite when you submit a form. You can unsubscribe using the link in each newsletter.
Access, retention and your rights
Website reports are accessible to authorised team members through Google Analytics and our private dashboard. Aggregate campaign reports are kept while needed to evaluate audience growth and campaigns. Google and other providers may process information outside the UK.
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, object to applicable processing or request portability where available. Contact us at the address above. The unlisted Underwater Metrics policy pages do not run analytics or marketing scripts. This website notice is separate from the Underwater game privacy policy.
