Underwater — UK Autumn Tour 2026

A psychedelic audiovisual descent into a world that is simultaneously alien and home.

Underwater — the immersive performance by An-Ting and Ian Gallagher — goes on tour this autumn. Using our self-designed underwater ambisonic recording array, we've woven the conversations of coral, seals and whales into a tapestry of spatial audio and Chinese verse, with Ian's real-time 3D pointcloud environments responding live.

• 9 September — The Big Thing (Immersive Arts), Llandudno, Wales
• 1 October — Sonica Festival, Glasgow, Scotland
• 29–30 October — Belfast International Arts Festival, Belfast, Northern Ireland

Each performance is a live, one-off descent — part concert, part hallucination, entirely underwater.

The digital version

From September 2026 we are also releasing a real-time digital version of the project, where audiences can dive into the 3D world as a fish and experience the interactive performance firsthand. If you'd like to get in early, we're calling out paid alpha testers to spend time in the early build and help shape the final release.
