失絡之聲
A newly founded record label releasing music that weaves non-human communications into contemporary and experimental electronic sound.
Lost Communications is the creative partnership of composer An-Ting and creative technologist Ian Gallagher. Their work transforms field recordings of birdsong, coral, seals, and whales into immersive electronic soundscapes — released as albums, performed as live audiovisual shows, and presented at festivals and venues across the world.
The label’s debut album, Lost Communications 失絡之聲, has received critical acclaim and its limited 12” vinyl has been distributed internationally. The next album, Underwater, will be released in Winter 2027.

Lost Communications 失絡之聲
The debut album transforms birdsong recorded across the UK, Mongolia, Sichuan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan into a dark, experimental electronic soundscape. Seven tracks, each named after a bird species whose calls feature in the composition.

An-Ting weaves her recordings of the conversations of coral, seals, and whales into a tapestry of spatial audio and Chinese verse, creating an epic landscape of deep emotion. The live version of Underwater is performed by An-Ting and creative technologist Ian Gallagher as an immersive audiovisual show.
The album extends the label’s commitment to exploring non-human communication through electronic music — moving from the skies to the depths of the ocean.
